The illustration shows the wide range of end applications in which preservative treated timbers can be used in general building and landscaping situations. The numbers on the illustration relate to relevant Use Classes (as defined in BS EN 335-1) for each application. Simply click here to find out the most appropriate Arch preservative treatments for these Use Classes, as well as recommendations for specific industrial end uses of timber.
If your timber component or end use is not highlighted here, please contact Arch directly for further advice.
Fire Retardant Treatments
Because of the particular safety aspects of fire protection, we do recommend that you contact Arch directly to discuss your project requirements.
Arch offers a choice of proven fire retardant treatments depending on the timber's eventual end use. DRICON is the only BBA certified fire retardant treatment for timber and can be specified for interior and weather protected exterior situations. NON-COM Exterior has been specified for over 25 years for exterior and severe damp end use situations. VACSOL FR is a new fire retardant protection specifically for timber frame components during the construction phase of new build projects.
